Singles FS Test Elements (Interm-Senior)

SRF - Senior Freestyle Test

Jumps
  • 4 different double or triple jumps one of which must be a double Lutz. If the skater elects to perform triple jumps, only 1 may be repeated in combinations or jump sequences
  • Axel type jump
Combos 2 different jump combinations with (2 double jumps) or (a double and a triple)
Spins
  • Flying spin (min 6 revs in position)
  • Spin in one position (min 6 revs)
  • Spin combo with all 3 positions and 1 change of foot (min 2 revs in each position and 5 revs/foot, and 10 revs total)
Steps
  • Men: 2 different step sequences of advanced difficulty, covering the full ice surface (see rule 3640)
  • Ladies: 1 step sequence and 1 spiral sequence, covering the full ice surface (see rule 3640)
Notes Max 8 jump elements (men) and 7 jump elements (ladies) (each combo counts as 1 element); Max 4 spins

JRF - Junior Freestyle Test

Jumps
  • At least 3 different double jumps; one of which must be a double flip
  • Axel type jump
Combos
  • 1 combo with 2 double jumps
  • 1 sequence with small jumps followed by any double jump
Spins
  • Flying spin (min 6 revs in position)
  • Spin in one position (min 6 revs)
  • Spin combo with all 3 positions and 1 change of foot (min 2 revs in each position and 5 revs/foot, and 10 revs total)
Steps
  • Men: 2 different step sequences of advanced difficulty, covering the full ice surface (see rule 3640)
  • Ladies: 1 step sequence and 1 spiral sequence, covering the full ice surface (see rule 3640)

NF - Novice Freestyle Test

  • Double toe loop
  • Double loop
Combos Jump combo with 2 double jumps
Spins
  • Choice of camel, sit, or layback (min 6 revs)
  • Flying spin (min 5 revs in position)
  • Spin combo with at least 1 change of foot and at least 1 change of position (min 5 revs/foot)
Steps
  • Straight-line step sequence consisting of steps and turns in the field such as threes, brackets, spirals and spread eagles, etc
  • One step sequence or spiral sequence (see rule 3640)
Notes Max 7 jump elements (men) and 6 jump elements (ladies) (each combo counts as 1 element); Max 3 spins

IF - Intermediate Freestyle Test

Jumps
  • Axel
  • 1 double jump: double Salchow, double toe loop, or double toe Walley
Combos
  • Jump combo with 2 single jumps
  • Jump combo with (single and double) or (2 doubles)
Spins
  • Flying spin (min 5 revs in position)
  • Spin combo with at least 1 change of foot and at least 1 change of position (min 4 revs/foot)
Steps One step sequence straight-line, circular, or serpentine fully utilizing the ice surface
Notes Max 6 jump elements (each combo counts as 1 element); Max 3 spins
